Thoughtful Thursday: A Spring Haiku

You finally succeeded, T. All these years of sharing your love of haiku has finally rubbed off on me. It is now possible for me to come up with poetry that doesn't sound like my 7th grade wonder "A Red Thread". Although that little poem does make me laugh!

Fog-filtered sunlight;
Dewdrop speckled peonies;
Spring morning, mid-May.

Oh! I do love me an haiku, and peonies are among my tippy-top favorite of flowers! Their beauty, and their scent!

Peonies, so sweet
Spring blesses with such flora
August:be so kind?

Thank you, Grammy Goodwill! :) Every once in a while, I accidentally do a decent job with my little point-and-shoot.

T, your haiku is delightful, and I knew you would comment with one! Thank you for encouraging me to step outside my writing "boundaries".
